Firewood & Campfires: Tree-killing insects and diseases can hide in firewood. While these pests can’t move far on their own, they can move hundreds of miles when people move firewood. Pest infestations are a serious problem that destroys our forests and are costly to control. Please contact Campground Staff about finding local sources of firewood. Downed trees on campsites or in the wood line can be burned in designated fire rings. The ONLY items that shall be burned within the campground are wood and paper. Any other items burned within the fire rings may result in a cleaning fee.
